Welcome to Westside Children's Ministry

Purpose:

TO CREATE the most innovative and imaginative Children's Ministry that brings the love of Jesus to the next generation. (Only take heed, and guart your life diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart form you. Teach them to your children and your children's children. Deut 4:9)

TO PROVIDE a safe environment where children will find a relationship with Jesus simply irresistible. (But Jesus said, Suffer the little children and forbid them not to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14)

TO PARTNER with families in the study and practice of God. (These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deut 6:6-7)

TO SEE AND DEVELOP the destiny within each child to its fullest potential. (For we are God's handiwork recreated in Christ Jesus that we may do those good works which God predestined for us, taking paths which He prepared ahead of time that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10)

TO SEEK adults who have a heart for children and a passion for Christ. (It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service. Ephesians 4:11-12)
