SHADOW OF HIS WINGS ORPHANAGE in Monjas Jalapa Guatemala

The project was founded in 2002. Joanne Simpson & Carroll Bishop are the directors of James Project of Latin America.  Currently the orphanage houses 61 girls in 5 homes with houseparents for each home. They have their own school on the property called Liberty Christian School. The students are very competitive and participate in gymnastic events and have even won a national title. The project has just started the boys home, it is an ongoing project. To see more click the picture to go to their site.

WFLC supports this ministry on a monthly basis supporting one of the homes: CASA ESTER. We also sponsor short term mission trips to Guatemala. Our next trip is scheduled for July 2012.
